Transporting foods for lunches and picnics and storing leftovers for reheating is a cinch with the Pyrex Storage Plus set. Included in this set are two 2-cup rounds, one 3 1/2-cup rectangular, one 4-cup round, and one 6-cup rectangular storage piece, all glass, with plastic covers. Pyrex glass doesn't warp, stain, or absorb odors, and can be used in the oven, microwave, oven, refrigerator, or freezer for storing, reheating and serving. The set is easy to stack, so it takes up less cabinet space when not in use. The set includes a pamphlet with safety and use instructions, and each glass piece is covered by a two-year warranty. --Rhonda Langdon

Average Customer Review:
Summary: Nice, but a little small
Date: 2008-11-17 -
Comment: I love this product because it's glass and the pyrex lids always seal very well, but just be aware that the containers are a little bit smaller than you think. Still a good value.
Summary: Gah! 10 pc = FIVE bowls and FIVE lids!
Date: 2008-11-14 -
Comment: I would call that "five piece"!
Caveat emptor!
Good products though, and it's still a good price!
Summary: essential kitchen item
Date: 2008-11-10 -
Comment: I've been using my set for 3 years now and I haven't found a better way to store leftovers. I use them in the microwave as well as the oven (with foil instead of the lid) and put them in the dishwasher. I have had zero problems with the lid shrinking, stretching or warping, and as with other pyrex products, the glass is almost unbreakable. The sizes in this set are perfect for medium to small items - you'll need larger containers for leftover whole roast chicken or a pot of soup, but for tomorrow's lunch these are just right. The smaller rectangle in this set is the perfect size for a wedge of brie or other soft cheese that makes a mess in plastic wrap. I often use the larger rectangle for sliced meat, chicken pieces, etc.
Summary: good bowls, but poor lids
Date: 2008-10-24 -
Comment: the rectangle ones are not water tight at all. but it is not too bad when taking the 15 dollars price into account.
Summary: Made in the USA

Comment: For those non-Americans, pardon my patriotism, but to me it's nice to see a quality product that is actually made in the USA. It seems as we've farmed much of our manufacturing out to other countries so that we can instead buy non-U.S. goods on our credit cards.
Obviously, I'm editorializing a bit, so onto the review at hand. This Pyrex is a quality food storage set that should last you a good many years. As you likely know, the glass used in the Pyrex line does not generally stain or retain food odors. Cleanup is quite easy and the price is easy on the wallet as well. Most of the pieces will nest inside of the other, so this is a plus as it does no take up too much shelve space in your kitchen.
The only negative that I could come up with is that the glass does conduct heat and can get quite warm or hot when you are cooking and this includes cooking in the microwave. So use a towel or potholder when handling Pyrex after cooking so that you don't burn yourself.
The bottom line is that this is a classic, quality product that is well-priced. It comes highly recommended.
