The schwinn 17 function bike computer was orderded as a Christmas gift for my son. It arrived on time and in good condition. Schwinn's bike computer operates much better than one he had purchased from a competing company. He is very satified with it and would recommend it.

Comment: I bought two of these at different times. One had a problem with the backlight not working, but other then that, these are really a great value for the money.
It has features that cycle computers 4 times this much don't have! Fairly easy to mount and set up. Easy to use once you get the hang of it.
I definitely would recommend this item.

Comment: Works great. All of these things should have the same accuracy, and all depend on having an accurate wheel circumference. Additionally, they all need about the same sensor/probe distance, since they all use the same technology to transmit a signal. The thermometer is a nice feature, though it's a bit slow to react. Backlight is also nice, but hidden (you have to press the left button). 2 complaints:
1. It would be nice if all trip-related features reset together. As it stands, while time, distance, and avg speed reset together, max speed, calories, and fat cals all need to be individually reset.
2. Mounting hardware is super chintzy. Everything is just held on by zip ties.

Comment: For the price of under $10, you get 17 useful functions. Most the bike computers charge 2-3x as much for half the functions. I had to buy a second one because I accidentally yanked the black wire out of the magnetic sensor attached to the front spoke. Not sure how this happened, but since it is not wireless, you will want to tape the wire to the spoke in such a way as to minimize the chance that it will be yanked out by a branch. My only real complaint is that there is no feature that will allow you to turn on backlight when you are night riding. You can click the left button and it will light for about 2 seconds and that's it. Other than that, no complaints about the product at all. Best value for the money.
