Comment: i got this item because of all the people talking about how wonderful it was for hard water... but this doesnt do anything for hard water. the filter is for chlorine n stuff, not hard water. my water is just as hard as its ever been, only difference is it doesnt sting as much when it gets in my eyes -- not that useful. plus the water pressure is somewhat weak and this cannot be fixed, even when following the instructions to remove restriction on flow. my skin and hair is just as dry as it used to be with my old shower head, with no filter. if youre getting this for hard water, keep looking -- thats not what this thing is for. if youre getting it because it looks cool or because the listed features (the real ones, not the made up ones in reviews), then this is a decent shower head.

Comment: This little filter does the job well. A great product as advertised. Nice to have a filter that will give us a break from all the powerful chlorine odors that happen to be in our town's water supply. We can shower without those intense chlorine odors. What a relief!!!!

Comment: I noticed a difference in the pressure, feel, and smell of my water immediately after installing this showerhead. My hair and skin felt softer. LOOOOVE IT. Definitely worth the money -- it's a quality piece, easy to install, and filters out the yucky elements in your shower water.

Comment: I was suffering from dry skin and hair due to the hard water and the high desert climate I live in. This filtered shower head was a great inexpensive solution. Paid only $21 on amazon. Now my hair and skin are soft despite the desert climate. It was very easy to install, I had it up in under 5 minutes. Replacement filters will run about $8 but I haven't replaced mine yet. The only con I have is that it is a little hard to switch spray modes on the unit. Also the tension that holds the shower head is a little loose and doesn't firmly hold the sprayer when adjusted. It does hold but the tension is very slight. I'm sure this would be easy to fix, I guess it hasn't bothered me enough to do so.
